As autumn approaches, I’m sure we are all slowly swapping over from our Iced Teas over to warming beverages.
One of the top favourites for the season is a Masala Chai Tea Latte. We often purchase this beverage from large coffee and café chains, which can be loaded with tons of unwanted sugars and artificial flavourings.
For those looking for a healthier alternative, you can try making one at home yourself. It’s actually super simple (not to mention a lot more economical as well!)
This recipe makes approximately 1 mug of Chai Latte, we also don’t add any sugar to this recipe, however, you can add it to your own taste.
- 2 teaspoons of Organic Bollywood Chai
- 250ml of water
- 250ml of milk
- Sugar (optional)
1/ Add the Organic Bollywood Chai Tea and water to a pot on stovetop and bring to a boil
2/ Let the tea simmer for 2 minutes after it goes to a boil
3/ Add the milk into the pot and let it simmer until hot
4/ If you would like to add sugar, please do so at this point
5/ Strain and serve
